Hi, I’m Michelle Kilpatrick! I’m a wife, mom to three, and soon-to-be grandmother of two. After years in the business world, I stepped away from the office to focus on what matters most—my family. As my kids grew more independent, I poured my energy into another love of mine: my dogs. These days, you’ll find me training and caring for them, while also enjoying quality time with my family, diving into genealogy, curling up with a good book, or unwinding with a movie.

My Story

Dogs have always been part of my life, but German Shepherds? That was new territory for me. My husband, on the other hand, was raised with GSDs and couldn’t wait to bring one into our family. Our first was a sweet soul, but timid and plagued with health issues. Our next GSD was aggressive toward our kids, leaving me hesitant about the breed. Still, my husband persuaded me to give it one more shot—and that’s when Thor came into our lives. At two years old, he was everything we’d hoped for: gentle with our children, aloof with strangers, and a dream to train. Losing him broke our hearts, and our home felt empty without a dog to love.

That loss sparked a mission. Armed with Thor’s pedigree, I dove into research, determined to find another GSD with his exceptional qualities. I wanted imported lines—dogs true to the breed’s original purpose—because Thor stood out from every other GSD I’d known. Finding a dog of his caliber wasn’t easy, but when I did, inspiration struck. I wanted to breed German Shepherd Dogs like him, so others could experience the loyal, steady companions they were meant to be. From the ashes of losing Thor, our kennel was born.
