17 years ago when we got married, we got a German Shepherd puppy (my first). He ended up having health problems and severe allergies. Having grown up with them, my husband loved the breed and was not ready to give up. Twice more we loved German Shepherds with health and temperament issues. We lucked into finding a well-bred GSD from West German Working Lines to add to our family. He was finally the dog that made me fall in love with this breed. So, I began to research. I learned about pedigrees and bloodlines. I learned about breed standards, health testing, working titles, etc. We decided to start breeding so that other families would not experience the heartbreak that we did. So that more people could enjoy German Shepherd Dogs the way they were meant to be.
